Swap out the AT&T SIM card for an expensive WiFi-enabled iPod

Our brethren by at TUAW have determined that whether you take out the iPhone’s SIM card, it will work as a mini Net tablet and iPod. Of course all that neat stuff like visual voice mail won’t work.

To match the iPhone WITHOUT it’s Phone features active, you’d have to pony up $800 not to mention add an additional pound or so of additional gadgets.
