It’s labeled the Roku XD Player, bearing the model number NTV250, featuring 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI, composite, and Ethernet connectivity. It wasn’t mentioned what the difference between the Roku XD Player and the previously reported Roku XD will be, but speculation is that it might be a client/server home media streaming platform, unlike your standard single set top box setup like the Roku HD . The idea does sound interesting, and we’re looking forward to see what Roku will be offering us.
