Hannspree announces 10.1-inch Android tablet powered by NVIDIA

Hannspree has officially said that it would launch an Android tablet powered by a Tegra 2 in November. It will feature a 1024×600 mutli-touch display (LED backlit) and provide a 16/9 format that seems to be in demand from a fraction of Tablet enthusiasts. Other sensors for motion and light are also part of the package. The industrial design appears to be “so-so”. Although it resembles the iPad (more or less), the build quality worries me a little, but it’s very hard to tell on a product photo anyway. It is said that it can play HD video for 8hrs in a row, which is a good sign for the battery life. The rest of the specifications are in the extended post – they are interesting.
