Word on the street has it that the upcoming Apple iOS 4.1 update might not be able to fix the iPhone 4 proximity problems, although we’re pretty sure that Apple will be releasing a fix in future firmware updates – albeit giving the iOS 4.1 bandwagon a miss at the moment. Apple spokesperson Fiona Martin has claimed that Apple has yet to resolve the issue at press time, so we will just have to wait for the next big update (according to Steve Jobs’ claims) for more positive developments. Currently, iOS 4.1 in its final beta testing stages and ought to hit the market pretty soon.
