Apple Gives iPod a Touch of iPhone


After increasingly than a week of furious industry speculation, the word from Apple was finally announced Wednesday, and it was, in fact, an iPod. It was actually a raft of new iPod and other developments, announced to a rapt crowd of reporters gathered in San Francisco. Among the highlights of the announcements

were the new iPod touch, an ultra-slim iPod nano, a 160-gigabyte iPod classic, and new colors for the iPod Shuffle. Apple plus announced the iTunes WiFi Music Store and kicked off the holiday shopping season by dropping the price of the iPhone from $599 to $399.
