Remember the $35 tablet that was announced by a minister in India last month ? Well, many people were pretty skeptical about how this could be possible, but you’ve got to know beforehand that India is the country which churns out the cheapest cars in the world. Apart from the super cheap pricing that we already know, today, it was shown on TV with more details on its specifications (which was what most of us were looking for anyways). This Android-powered device will come with 2GB RAM, a camera of unknown pixel count, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, a resistive touchscreen display, a miniUSB port, a miniSD memory card slot, video out and a SIM card slot – presumably you will need a data plan as well if you don’t want to rely on wireless hotspots all the time. Expected to roll out in a year’s time, we’re not too sure just which version of Android it will run on then, but hopefully it will be the latest. Best to come with a zippy processor though, since it is speculated that Android 3.0 that is tipped to roll out at the end of the year will need at least a 1GHz chip inside .
